Aberrations of Lens and Time

I ache for your stare
though it blinds me and I
have to turn my gaze away from
your eyes
as if looking into the sun
I can't look too long
or too close
I will burn my eyes
and crush my heart down
into the ground
steaming pile of pink flesh
just lost
natural and pure
no drugs involved
I am doped up for you
love at first sight
is wild and magical
Like a million points of light
beaming around your smiling face
Aberrations of lens and time
Bokeh like fine wine
You blur my memory
and clocks rewind
